Position Overview:

Janicek Performance Group (JPG) is seeking a dynamic and driven Social Media Manager to oversee the social media presence for a range of clients, Janicek Performance Group’s brand, and Kathryn Janicek, our Founder/CEO. This individual will manage multiple social media accounts across all major platforms, create and curate engaging content, and ensure consistency and excellence in social media execution. The ideal candidate is a proactive go-getter who is curious and constantly learning how to navigate the latest needs of the platforms to compete and grow, has exceptional organizational skills, and has expertise in managing social media portfolios for high-level professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Content Management:
    • Develop, curate, and schedule content for multiple social media accounts, including client accounts, JPG, and Kathryn Janicek.
    • Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure a steady flow of high-quality, engaging content.
    • Monitor content performance and adjust strategies to maximize engagement and reach.
  • Platform Management:
    • Oversee all major platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, and YouTube.
    • Manage the posting calendar, ensuring all deadlines are met and no posts are missed.
    • Stay updated on platform trends and algorithm changes to keep content relevant and impactful.
  • Email Marketing:
    • Create and manage email campaigns using Mailchimp, ensuring alignment with overall branding and marketing strategies.
  • Client Coordination:
    • Serve as the point of contact for clients to understand their social media goals and translate them into actionable plans.
    • Ensure that client accounts reflect their brand voice and goals consistently.
  • Analytics and Reporting:
    • Track and analyze social media metrics to report on performance and provide insights for improvement.
    • Use data to recommend strategies for growing engagement and follower counts.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the JPG and client teams to ensure the content aligns with the company’s and clients’ overall marketing objectives.
    • Coordinate with Kathryn Janicek and other stakeholders to align on personal branding content.

Requirements:

  • Impeccable spelling and grammar – and know how to check and double check for errors by using Grammarly and other resources.
  • Proven experience managing multiple social media accounts across various platforms.
  • Proficiency in using scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Later) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, platform-specific insights).
  • Expertise with Mailchimp for email campaign creation and management.
  • Strong organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously without missing deadlines.
  • Creative mindset with a strong eye for engaging content and storytelling.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with branding and audience segmentation to tailor content effectively.
  • A proactive attitude, with a willingness to take ownership and drive results independently.
  • Knowledge of social media best practices and emerging trends.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Driven. Loves to win, strives for bonuses, and hits the goal every time.
  • Experience in a fast-paced agency environment.
  • Familiarity with video editing and graphic design tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO as it applies to social media content.
